Seattle to Singapore act UNO

First leg of the journey already interesting, I met a young college student attending a Baptist school in Lancaster, CA. He was holding a small periodical titled "The Pitfalls of Social Networking" written by Paul Chappell

I asked if I could look at it, I expected to read somthing from a purely technophile perspective. I was actually pleasantly surprised to find out that it was a religous publication. It was published as a guide to using Social Media in a positive and meaningful way. I think this is an important mesage for young people as too often these technologies are perverted and used to hurt or exploit.

ImageSource Speech Club - ISSClub

2005 - Nexus ECM Solutions Conference begins gaining momentum and puts in motion a whole new generation of ECM Professionals.  I have long said that the Enterprise Content Management profession is long on possibilities but very short on talent.

As 25 of us reflect on the success of the conference, one person stands up, takes charge and crystalizes leadership. John Linehan, Sr. Systems Engineer with ImageSource sets the stage for a company wide initiative to improve presentation skills and confidence in speech.

November 24, 2009 the first meeting of the ImageSource Speech Club has a big impact with all who participated.  I was personally very impressed with the meeting's agenda, connectivity to remote employees and structure.  John used Toastmasters International format to kick off a very well organized meeting.  Enacting a movement towards betterment from the ranks is rare.  It shows character and a passion for the ownership and direction of your career.
